Dr. Faiza Farooq

Dr. Faiza Farooq completed her BVSc & AH from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, SKUAST-K, Kashmir, followed by a Master’s in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from SKUAST-J, Jammu, with a specialization in orthopedic surgeries in canines.

She is the first author of a research paper published in the Journal of Animal Research. After completing her MVSc, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Radiology at SDS College, affiliated with Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar.

Dr. Faiza later joined Petzone Mumbai as a surgeon under the mentorship of Dr. Leena Dalal, where she worked for two years before joining MaxVets East of Kailash. At MaxVets, she gained experience in the Department of Emergency and Critical Care and currently works as a Surgeon and General Physician at MaxVets Noida.

Dr. Faiza is committed to continually developing her surgical and diagnostic skills and regularly attends continuing education programs, seminars, and practical workshops, including hands-on training in small animal soft tissue surgery. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, diagnostics, orthopedic surgery, and laparoscopic surgery.

She is a strong believer in teamwork and compassionate patient care, with a focus on continuous individual and collective growth.
