About Dr. Bhanu Dev Sharma
Dr. Bhanu Dev Sharma is a leading small animal cardiologist in India with over 18 years of experience in advanced veterinary care. After completing his graduation in Veterinary Science from HAU, Hisar in 2008, he began practicing small animal medicine and soon found his passion in cardiology and diagnostic imaging.
He went on to pursue a Master’s in Veterinary Cardiology from the University of Luxembourg and completed certifications in CT Scan, Radiology, and Internal Medicine from the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS).
Dr. Sharma has been trained extensively across Europe and the U.S., and remains deeply committed to learning through ongoing global certifications.
His core areas of expertise include advanced cardiac procedures and diagnostic imaging, including transesophageal and 4D echocardiography.
Dr. Sharma is among the first few veterinarians in the world to be trained in minimally invasive mitral valve repair surgery (TEER – Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair) and has successfully performed multiple TEER procedures in dogs.
