Dr. Anikshit Verma

Dr. Anikshit Verma graduated from the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, in 2017, followed by a postgraduate degree in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology from Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Kerala, in 2019, with a specialization in small animal anesthesia.

Dr. Anikshit has contributed to research on surgical cases and anesthesia, with several research papers published in reputed journals. After completing his postgraduate studies, he worked as Chief Surgeon at Dr Santa Animal Healthcare, Bangalore, where he managed elective and emergency soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries along with medical cases.

He joined MaxVets in May 2021 and has since been actively involved in soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care, anesthesia, and internal medicine cases. He values a collaborative approach and works closely with the MaxVets team to establish accurate diagnoses and tailor appropriate treatment plans for each patient.

Beyond companion animal practice, Dr. Anikshit has a strong interest in wildlife medicine. During his postgraduate research, he gained experience working with various wild animals, including leopards, sloth bears, deer, snakes, and elephants. He is committed to continuous learning and staying updated with advances in veterinary medicine to provide high-quality care.
